Install FolioPDF in HubSpot

A five-minute, one-time setup. You'll need to be a HubSpot admin.

Installing FolioPDF takes about five minutes. You only do this once per HubSpot account, and you need to be a HubSpot admin to do it.

What you’ll do

  1. Click Install for HubSpot from our home page.
  2. HubSpot will ask which account you want to add FolioPDF to. Pick the right one.
  3. HubSpot will show you what FolioPDF needs to read from your account: deals, contacts, files, and the other things it needs to build a PDF. Click Connect app.
  4. You’ll land in FolioPDF. Pick a starter template and your brand color, and you’re done.

That’s it. From this point on, anyone in your HubSpot account can open a deal and make a PDF.

What FolioPDF will see in your HubSpot account

When you install, HubSpot will show a list of permissions. In plain language, here’s what each one is for:

  • Read your deals, contacts, companies and quotes, so we can pull the right information into the PDF you’re making.
  • Read line items, so prices, quantities and totals show up correctly on invoices and proposals.
  • Upload files and add notes, so the finished PDF lands inside HubSpot, attached to the right record.

We don’t ask for anything else, and we don’t change anything in your HubSpot account. Read about what we do with your data.

Who can use it after install

Once installed, FolioPDF is available to everyone in your HubSpot account. There’s no per-user setup.
